Dr. Joseph McKay (Garrett Maggart) finds himself dragged into a secret government project when he’s draft to treat a patient Simon Molinar (Jason Carter). Molinar is a vampire tracked down for study and the scientists in charge push to greater and greater lengths to test the vampire’s abilities and Dr. McKay’s willingness to go along with the increasingly questionable experiments.

While Ellison and Banks are at lunch, the police station gets overrun by armed bad guys who seem to easily, all things considered, waltz in and take over. This leaves Blair Sandburg, the intrepid anthropoligist, as the last line of defense, seeing as how the entire city’s police department and the national guard seem to be unable to cope.

Detective Jim Ellison (Richard Burgi ) was an army Ranger rescued after being stuck in the jungles of South America for over a year. Returning to Cascade, Washinton, he finds himself developing hyper senses he can’t control. He is contacted by a graduate student, Blair Sandburg (Garett Maggart) who identifies him as a “Sentinel” with special senses who among primitive peoples would watch for danger to the tribe.

Sentinel – Cypher

In “Cypher,” the Cascade police department is once again infiltrated by a bad guy. No one ever seems to think of asking for ID as these guys come waltzing through the front door. Of course, this leads to Blair getting kidnapped by David Lash, the psycho of the week, and Jim has to rush to his rescue.
