Will Eisner’s comic book crimefighter, The Spirit, is on a mission to protect the city he loves.  Denny Colt (Gabriel Macht) is a rookie cop who’s killed and comes back to life to fight crime.  In this movie, he’s out to defeat his arch-enemy The Octopus (Samuel L. Jackson) and please a bevy of women including his childhood sweetheart Sand Serif who’s now a jewel thief.
