The Allegoric Hegemony

Daniel Goddard is “Rage” in the Dream Warrior.  After an asteriod strikes the earth, apocalypse ensues and people with mutant powers arise.  Rage is a telepath who’s fighting the local warlord who’s a closet mutant who exhorts his followers to find and kill the unpure mutants so he can hold on to power.  Rage rescues the warlord’s infant son who is destined to lead everyone to the promised land, at least accordig to Isaac Hayes.

Orpheo (Christopher Kirby), with the help of a mysterious black panther, returns from the afterlife to take Arina back with him and Dar must rescue her

Dar comes to the rescue of a psychic being pursued by King Zad who wants to use her powers for his own evil ends (what else?).

Dar and Tao try to help a village whose young men have been disappearing to an island full of women.  Demon killer women.

Dar finds the Tao has once again gotten into trouble.  This time he’s run afoul of tree top dwelling “Manlinks.”

[Tao gets ready to leave his  muscle buddy reunited with his long lost girl when once again baddies attack and Kyra must sacrifice to save the Beastmaster.

The Sorceress manages to return Shiraq (Daniel Fitzgerald) to hunky human form temporarily until the Ancient One finds out what she’s been up to.  Then to muddy the waters, the Ancient One releases Kyra back to King Zad, which prompts Dar and Tao to do the rescue thing.

Dar and Tao are tromping through the jungle when who should appear but some nekkid fraternal twins Nye (Zoe Coyle) and her brother Adranna (Ashely Gavin) who seem to have a little too much affection for each other and an interest in Tao.  They also turn out to be the bow and arrow toting, scantily clad baddies of the week.

Dar is menaced by “The Golden Phoenix” when a phoenix returns looking for his magic chalice that was left in the care of Dar’s tribe.  After spending some time staked out at phoenix guy’s mercy, Dar has to rescue the chalice from evil King Zad so the bird man can ascend.

Dar’s eagle buddy once again regains his human form to help the captured Sorceress escape from the Ancient Ones enemy from the middle of the buring forest.  Shiraq (Daniel Fitzgerald) the newly re-hunkified eagle must conceal his identity from Dar under threats from the Ancient One, who has battles of his own.  Tao gets trapped in a cave with a woman from his own tribe who just happens to be wandering about and the backwards footed, life sucking demon chick shows up and the guy who hates the tiger is back this time with a cuter henchman.
